Hi!

I'm a Stockholm based designer in love with technology and all it has to offer. I work mainly in the field of graphic design however I like exploring other design disciplines such as furniture design and speculative design as well.

I work as a Graphic Designer and Marketing Communicator at TCO Development. A company making the world a better place through our certification, TCO Certified. Working toward more sustainable IT products.

With my knowledge and experience in communication, tech, and design I'm always exploring. Working on different design projects, and being active as a design & communication advisor for students in the natural sciences. Through iGEM and the synthetic biology community in Stockholm.

I never stop learning and always take the chance in projects to learn something new or teach myself what is needed to complete the project. This has led me to have a broad understanding of other fields such as filmmaking, coding, and biotech.

Feel free to contact me for any collaborations or projects, hello@rasmusbengtsson.com

iGEM Stockholm 2017

Jan 2017 - Dec 2017 I competed in the iGEM competition(International Genetically Engineered Machine) with iGEM Stockholm. A competition focusing on synthetic biology and engineering new solutions with the help of DNA and microflora(ie bacteria and yeast). Our aim was to engineer a self-regulating bacterial system for degrading thickened mucus in the lungs. To help patients with asthma, COPD and cystic fibrosis.

My main focus in this competition was to make people understand synthetic biology and get more aware of what this amazing technology could do for them in the future. This by working on the team and project branding, making movies and design material to explain our project.
